About farmer and farm:
This coffee is growing in Yirgacheffe region, Gedeo, Ethiopia in the Aricha kebele, which considered on of the highest points in region. The name Aricha is also used to refer the washing station.
Farmers - small producers with 1-2 hectars, settled on 1950-2100 masl.
They cultivate mostly Ethiopian heirloom varieties.
Process: natural
Coffee cherries hand picked and sorted.
Then they evenly spread on raised beds for drying for 8-10 days, before moisture level 12%.
After that, the coffee goes to a ventilated warehouse and stay there for up to 21 days.
