About coffee

  1. Konga Wete Gr2

About the farmer and farm

The Konga-Wete washing station sits in southwestern Yirgacheffe, bordered by the Sede, Koke, Berbes Kela, and Wete stations.

Most of the trees here are local heirloom varieties, well adapted to the region and known for the classic Yirgacheffe profile: intense acidity with floral and spicy notes.

Cherries are hand-picked every day to make sure only ripe fruit reaches the station — between 10 and 20 tons arrive daily.

The station serves both the Konga and Wete sub-regions and has 88 African drying beds, most used for washed coffee.

Processing: washed

Cherries are hand-picked daily to ensure only fully ripe fruit reaches the station.

Once received, the cherries go through traditional washed processing on the station's 88 African drying beds.

This coffee is known for the bright acidity and floral notes typical of the Yirgacheffe region.
