Chechele washing station located near Worka Sakaro in Gedeb region, Ethiopia.




Coffee trees in this region located at 2200-2150 masl which helps in slower ripening of cherries. Fertile soil and climate conditions contribute to cultivate high quality coffee, mostly JARC 74110 varietie.




Process: natural 144 hrs + wine yeast




Cherries picked and sorted, then fermented in tanks with wine yeasts for 144 hours.




After that starts drying stage on african beds to decent moisture level(11-12%)
